The nose is fruity, finely concentrated, fine grained, racy, fresh and pure in flavour. There are notes of pulpy cherry, fresh/pulpy red plum and, more slightly, pulpy peach combined with hints of fresh red berries and a discreet hint of violet and liquorice. The palate is fruity, with juiciness, minerality, energy and tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, fresh/acidic red plums and more lightly crunchy nectarine combined with fine apple hints as well as discreet fresh red currant nuances and a subtle hint of fresh flower, very discreet tannic tension on the finish/persistence. Good length.
