The nose is dense and oaky, revealing notes of stewed red and black cherries, cinnamon, cloves, a touch of sweet blond tobacco and vanilla. The palate is smooth and round, showing some volume and gourmandise with sweet but grippy and slightly drying tannins. The palate shows notes of dried red cherries, dried cranberries, a touch of noble wood and sweet spices. The finish is pleasantly warming and lingering.
