The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is discreet at first, after aeration, it expresses notes of fresh red berries, red cherry, cranberries, raspberry, elderberry, a touch of tangy blackcurrant as well as subtle herbaceous and floral aromas (laurel, dried grass, violet, dried rose) and a very slight hint of licorice, nutmeg and smoke in the background. The mouth is enveloping, open, juicy and pure. It expresses sweet notes of wild strawberry, candied red cherry, raspberry, cranberries with a slight bitterness, as well as red cherry and crushed blackcurrant, which bring tanginess and freshness. There are also touches of dried rose, bay leaf, dried grass and cumin. The tannins are velvety and elegant. Nice length with juicy and sweet black fruits, refreshed by a nice acidity. A gourmet wine, straight, but silky and refined.
