The nose is fruity and offers a certain intensity as well as a certain deepness. We find notes of mirabelle plum, butter and small notes of small yellow fruits associated with touches of crushed apple, peach blossoms, a fine almost verbena/lime blossom hint as well as discreet hints of sweet spices, nutmeg and beeswax. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, an acidulous frame, minerality, straightness / tension as well as a nice fat and width. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy mirabelle plum, butter and small notes crushed nectarine associated with touches of small yellow flowers, crushed apricot as well as fine hints of beeswax, verbena, almond and an imperceptible almost sappy hint (in the background). Nice tannic hints on the finish both in aroma and structure. A very subtle chew. Good length. A subtle hint of good bitterness in the background which leads the tasting like a « fil rouge ».
