(organic) The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose is aromatic, offering fresh, tangy fruit combined with a fine floral fragrance. It expresses aromas of tart red cherry, crushed strawberry, fresh raspberry, morello cherry, as well as wild rose, cornflower, and violet. There are also aromas of liquorice, white pepper, nutmeg, combined with a hint of vanilla, toasted hazelnut, wild mint, and chocolate. The palate is tangy, chiseled, and expresses notes of tart, bitter cranberry and bird cherry, combined with flavors of red cherry, raspberry, rose, and violet, as well as cocoa nibs, liquorice, muscadet, and toasted hazelnut. The tannins are a little grainy and tight. The finish is tangy, lively and salivating, with a good grapefruit bitterness.
