(organic) The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose offers tension, precision, and a warm, spicy, toasty hint. It expresses aromas of ripe morello cherry, dried red cherry, crushed raspberry, wild strawberry, and blackberry, combined with a touch of roasted blackcurrant, roasted coriander seeds, nutmeg, crushed black pepper, licorice, and vanilla, as well as toasted wood, toasted almond, and coffee. There are also floral notes (lily, peony), as well as a herbaceous touch of fresh mint and a tangy hint of bergamot. The palate is enveloping, silky, taut, fruity, and juicy. It expresses notes of morello cherry, roasted red cherry, crushed raspberry, wild strawberry and ripe red cherry, combined with a gourmet toasted hint (toasted hazelnut, dark chocolate, toasted wood, coffee), spicy notes (roasted coriander seeds, vanilla, licorice, crushed cardamom), as well as flowers (lily, peony) and herbs (fresh mint). The finish is tight, slightly bitter (coffee), tannic, but not dry. Good length with freshness and salivating acidity.
