The nose is fine and powerful. It reveals notes of black cherry, blueberry and blackberry cream combined with a discreet hint of red berry (in the background) as well as hints of sweet spices, toasted wood and a very discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers finesse, a good volume, a good density, suavity, tension, a fine minerality and a fine fresh frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of plum, wild strawberries associated with touches of toasted oak, mocha (discreet) as well as a hint of zan, nutmeg and a discreet hint of blond tobacco. Tannins are fine and a bit dry. The finish is suave. Good length.
