The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is dense, fruity, yet refined. It expresses pronounced notes of morello cherry and red cherry, combined with touches of blackcurrant, raspberry, and cranberry, as well as a peppery side, combined with other spices – nutmeg, liquorice, a hint of cumin. Then there are notes of dried mint, peony, cocoa, and toasted almond. The palate offers a lively and tangy attack, with flavors of bigarreau cherry and cranberry, combined with touches of blackcurrant, morello cherry, and blueberry. There is also a toasted, sappy, and herbaceous hint (wild mint, blackcurrant leaf, bergamot tea), a hint of licorice, and the tangy side of cocoa nibs. Beautiful, salivating and pleasant acidity, which envelops the tight tannins. Good persistence on the palate with a bitterness of bergamot. A straight and structured wine, but closed for the moment.
