The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is concentrated, spicy and roasted at the opening, with a very light tertiary touch of undergrowth. It expresses notes of roasted bouquet garni, toasted wood, coffee, nutmeg, liquorice and fresh vanilla in the background, wrapped in a juicy fruity material (red cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, strawberry, a hint of cranberry) and complemented by a hint of wild mint and roasted meat. The palate is tangy, straight, with a fruity and spicy attack. We find notes of red cherry, raspberry, cranberry, morello cherry, as well as liquorice, cardamom, vanilla, tonka bean in the background, with gourmet toasted notes (toasted almond, cocoa, heated wood in the background). The finish is flavorful, offering fresh, mouth-watering acidity, herbal notes (dried mint, bergamot tea), a tangy hint of citrus, and a tertiary touch of undergrowth. The tannins are vertical and solid, with a fine grain.
