Castello di Gabbianno 2020 – Chianti Classico

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, even pale. The nose is fragrant, fruity and finely spicy. It expresses notes of ground white pepper, fresh nutmeg, a touch of clove, combined with notes of tart red cherry, morello cherry, crushed blackcurrant, raspberry coulis and crunchy strawberry, as well as a light note of basil and rose in the background. On the palate, the wine is airy, juicy and fruity, with firm tannins and salivating acidity. It expresses the flavors of red cherry, cranberries, morello cherry, crushed raspberry and crunchy strawberry, combined with hints of pepper (white pepper), nutmeg, basil and rose in the background. The finish is moderately persistent, tangy and juicy.
