The nose is spicy, aromatic and offers a nice little side of garrigue and dried rose. There are notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of anise associated with touches of small pulpy red fruits as well as hints of fleshy plum and discreet hints of liquorice. The palate is fresh, balanced and offers minerality and offers a juicy frame, good definition, accuracy as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/juicy cherry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of pulpy/fresh wild red berries as well as quite present hints of garrigue and rosemary. A saline hint and a fine chew on the finish/persistence. Tannins offer chew.
