The nose is elegant, gourmand and offers deepness, a fine richness as well as a fine complexity. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, crushed black plum and a touch of wild raspberry associated with a touch of ripe blueberry, hints of Sichuan pepper, toasted, vanilla as well as a subtle hint of camphor, violet, caramelization and a very discreet hint of dark chocolate. The palate is beautifully gourmande, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, juiciness, precision, a beautiful finesse of the grain that is very discreetly tight (lace!), an acidulous frame as well as a ripe / juicy and fleshy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of crushed wild blueberry associated with a hint of purple plum, cornflower / violet as well as a subtle hint of raspberry, toasted, black pepper, caramelization and vanilla. Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very discreet hint of pepper and varietal on the aftertaste.
