Castello Colle Massari 2020 – Montecucco Riserva

The nose is aromatic and racy. It reveals notes of rosemary, small wild fruits and small notes of pepper associated with touches of nutmeg, spices as well as a hint of olive and tobacco. The wine needs to be decanted. The palate is fresh, well-balanced and offers fruit, a certain brightness, a nice minerality as well as a fine airy side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cherry, fresh red berries and small notes of rosemary associated with touches of cornflower, rosemary, a hint of fresh pine needle as well as a hint of clove, nutmeg and camphor. Good length.
