Castellinuzza 2013 – Chianti Classico Gran Selezione

The nose offers a small power. The wine needs to be put in coffee. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, violet and small notes of ripe cassis associated with fine touches of crushed raspberry as well as very fine hints of cola and a discreet hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / slightly acidulous frame, gourmandize, tension and a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy strawberry, fleshy / juicy raspberry and small notes of fleshy / juicy blueberry associated with a hint of violet, very fine hints of zan, sweet spices as well as a imperceptible hint of coffee and vanilla (in the background).
