Domaine Cazes watches over one of the largest vineyards of Languedoc-Roussillon in organic and biodynamic agriculture. The appellation Maury was officially authorized to produce dry wines in the form of AOP in 2011 and has been doing wonders ever since. A partnership between Maison Cazes and Mas de Lavail, Castell d’Agly offers a blend of Grenache Noir and Carignan. On the nose, it has pronounced aromas of vanilla, clove, violet, pepper, cocoa and a touch of ground coffee. In the mouth, the tannins are silky and refined, with smoke and mineral notes.
