Castelfeder – Pinot Nero Riserva 2022, Burgum Novum – Alto Adige Riserva DOC

The nose is elegant, racy, complex and presents a little power and a certain intensity in accuracy. It reveals notes of pulpy violet plum, crushed blackberry and small notes of crushed redcurrant, associated with touches of star anise, aniseed, as well as hints of almost sappy/sapid, spices, a discreet hint of cubeb pepper, lilac, crushed blueberry and a hint of flowery red pepper. Depth and purity. The palate is well-built, supple, elegant, velvety, delicate and intense at the same time, precise and offers a stretched side in finesse. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of violet plum, morello cherry and small notes of small crushed blue fruits, combined with touches of cornflower, violet, as well as fine hints of sense of the place, almost verbena, as well as hints of infusion and a subtle touch of almost mandarin peel in the background. Good length. We also perceive spices notes and toastiness, a hint of chocolate and a certain richness all in accuracy. Gourmand, creamy and finely peppery persistence.
