The nose is gourmand and offers concentration. It reveals notes of liquorice, cassis and small notes of violet combined with touches of raspberry acidulous candy, slight hints of blueberry, ripe wild redcurrants as well as very discreet hints of spices, gray pepper, vanilla and an imperceptible touch of sweet blond tobacco. The wine needs to be put in carafe. The palate is fruity, mineral, well- balanced, fine, precise and offers elegance, concentration, a beautiful juiciness, a small suavity, an acidulous / juicy frame, fleshiness as well as a fine power / concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cherry Bigarreau, blueberry and small notes of juicy redcurrants associated with slight touches of liquorice, jammy raspberry, vanilla as well as discreet touches of fresh hazelnut, chocolate, a (very) slight hint of minerality and an imperceptible hint of garrigue. Tannins are supple.
