Castagnoli – Terrazze 2014 – Chianti Classico Riserva

The nose is quite gourmand and relatively aromatic. It reveals notes of chocolate, Tonka bean and slight notes of cassis associated with a discreet hint of wild black berries as well as hints of wood as well as very discreet hint of sichuan pepper and a discreet hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers an acid frame (on red fruits), a small fat as well as tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of wild strawberry, redcurrant and juicy raspberry combined with slight hints of juicy plum, cassis, toasted wood as well as a discreet hint of colas and a discreet hint of liquorice. Good length.
