Cascina Rabaglio – Barbaresco DOCG 2016 Riserva Gaia Principe, Neive

On the nose it offers a fine concentration, a fine power, a little delicacy as well as a fine grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and more slightly of pulpy plum associated with small touches of cinnamon, vanilla and a discreet hint of pepper. On the palate it is fruity and offers minerality, gourmandize, elegance, suavity as well as a certain delicacy. The wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy raspberry and more slightly fleshy / pulpy blue plum associated with touches of cornflowers, vanilla, fine hints of hazelnut, almond, discreet hints of toast as well as a subtle hint of cinnamon and bay laurel.
