The nose is fruity and offers a small power. It reveals notes of red berries, grove and small notes of crushed blackberry associated with slight touches of cherry, raspberry, crushed cassis, discreet hints of Sichuan pepper as well as very discreet toasted hints, nutmeg and an imperceptible hint of cinnamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a small acidulous frame as well as a slight juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and crushed red berries associated with small touches of crushed cassis, elderberry, red cherry as well as slight toasted touches, chocolate, caramelization and very discreet hints of hazelnut / almond (in the background). Tannins are numerous and a bit dry. There are a hint of cocoa and caramelization on persistence. (2022+)
