It reveals notes of black cherry / sour cherry, juicy cassis and small notes of redcurrant, raspberry associated with very slight hints of spices, gray pepper as well as discreet hints of violet and an imperceptible hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, well-built and offers juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize, suavity, a fine straightness, a good structure as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of acidulous / juicy redcurrant, acidulous / juicy blackberry and small notes of cassis associated with fine touches of violet, crunchy raspberry as well as very discreet hints of “sense of place” and an imperceptible hint of chocolate. Tannins are supple, elegant and precise. Good length.
