The wine has a ruby ​​color of medium intensity, with slight garnet reflections. The nose is dense, textured and concentrated, with notes of roasting (dark chocolate, cocoa, toasted almond, coffee) and sweet spices (toasted vanilla, licorice, gray pepper, nutmeg, cumin seeds) that open the aromatic bouquet. Then, we find the gourmand and sweet notes of cherry jam, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, blackberry and dried blackcurrant, associated with touches of chocolate morello cherry, sweet tobacco, crushed peppermint, fresh pine needles, mint chocolate and iris. The palate is expressive, with a lively, juicy, gourmand and fruity attack, with pleasant notes of cherry jam and chocolate morello cherry. We then find the flavors of crushed raspberry, fresh blackcurrant, fresh morello cherry, blueberry and blackberry, associated with touches of aromatic herbs (fresh bay leaf, fresh tobacco, peppermint, rosemary), a tasty spicy side (licorice, nutmeg, cumin seeds) and a beautiful chiseled acidity. The finish is persistent, tangy, on notes of bigarreaucherry and cranberries, with a slight bitterness. The tannins are powdery, cocoa-like, with a fine grain, but a solid structure.
