The nose is aromatic, powerful and offers concentration as well as deepness. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and blackberry associated with touches of wild strawberry, liquorice, fine hints of grilled rosemary, thyme, prune as well as discreet hints of toasted/toasted oak, mild tobacco and spices. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, energy, a small juciness, a beautiful tension as well as definition, gourmandize, suavity and a beautiful grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crushed wild blackberry and small notes of plum associated with small touches of red fruits/ripe red berries as well as small hints of liquorice stick, black olive/thyme as well as an imperceptible hint of vanilla/caramelization and flowers on the finish. Tannins are fine, supple and elegant. Good length. A beautiful wine!
