Cascina Albano 2017 – Barbera d’Alba

The nose is fruity and offers power, a fine grain as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild red berries and small notes of copse associated with a tocuh of cherry, flowers as well as fine hints of spices (pepper and clove). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a fine tension, fleshiness, gourmandize, a juicy/acidulous frame as well as a beautiful juicy/fleshy fruit and small notes of juicy blackberry associated with fine touches of plum as well as hints of flowers, copse/variel and discreet hints of chocolate (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
