The nose is aromatic, gourmand, slightly tight and offers richness, density as well as a slight power. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, raspberry jam and crushed ripe strawberries combined with small notes of chocolate, olive, vanilla as well as a subtle hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity juicy, fresh, silky and offers tension, a good acid frame, a nice minerality, roundness as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed strawberry, crushed blackberry and small notes of black cherry associated with touches of ripe berries, olive, chocolate, vanilla, toasted / caramelized oak as well as a very discreet hint of olive tree (on the finish). Tannins are slightly dry and offers medium grain. Good length.
