The nose is fruity, aromatic and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of dried strawberry, fleshy raspberry and small touches of blueberry, flowers (cornflower, violet), plum associated with subtle oaky hints, licorice, spices as well as a very discreet hint of chocolate and vanilla. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, supple and offers a beautiful mineral frame, precision as well as finesse. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed very ripe wild strawberry and crushed redcurrant associated with slight notes of fleshy bigarreau cherry as well as small touches of cassis, subtle hints of coffee, mcoha, sweet spices (cardamom, vanilla…), almost salin minerality and a very discreet hint of undergrowth/mushroom in the background. Tannins are well-built. Good length and beautiful persistence (in a slight touch of dark chocolate).
