Casa E. Di Mirafiore – Nebbiolo 2014 – Langhe DOC

The nose is fruity, gourmand, aromatic, full and offers a certain richness. It reveals notes of peony, crushed blackbery and small notes of crème de cassis, cherry cream associatd with a hint of black cherry, a touch of rose as well as touches of spices, pepper (gray pepper, cuben pepper) and a hint of graphite. The palate is fruity, mineral, silky, straight, well-balanced and offers tension as well as a beautiful fine grain. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of dried wild strawberry, crushed blackberry and small notes of leshy strawberry associated with hints of wild berries, flowers as well as a discreet hint of garrigue/olive tree, gray pepper, spices and a very discreet/imperceptible hint of bell pepper in the background. Good length and persistence.
