The nose offers plenty of freshness, a lovely tangy fruity structure and tension. It expresses aromas of fresh blackcurrant, dried blackcurrant, morello cherry, red cherry and raspberry, combined with refreshing minty notes (dried mint, dried pine needles), as well as wild flowers and a bitter hint of grapefruit and bergamot tea. There is also a spicy hint of liquorice, star anise and nutmeg, combined with a discreet touch of sandalwood. The palate is straight and solid, taut and fresh. The fruity and chiseled and juicy substance (morello cherry, red cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant), combined with a good bitterness of bergamot tea, delicately integrated tertiary notes, as well as a minty freshness of liquorice, star anise and pine needles. Beautiful granite mineral structure and a touch of sandalwood in the background. The finish is lively, mouth-watering and tangy, pleasantly bitter. The tannins are polished but firm.
