Caruso & Minini – Perripò 2022 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is pretty, aromatic, elegant, airy and offers velvety and a certain complexity in its velvety. It reveals notes of violet, brilliant boysenberry and small notes of jammy cherry, associated with touches of small brilliant red fruits, as well as a hint of blueberry, lilac and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, it offers a certain tension, juiciness and a lovely purity and brilliance of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, cherry and small notes of small brilliant red fruits, combined with touches of cherry blossom, a hint of fresh balsamic, as well as an almost subtle touch of warm/roasted rosemary in the background. Beautifully defined and precise. Velvety, gourmand tannins. Some chewiness on the finish/persistence. Nice freshness and acidity.
