Caruso & Minini – Cutaja 2019 – Sicilia DOC

The nose is fruity, frank, elegant and offers a certain aromatic richness and an airy side. It reveals notes of pulpy raspberry, blackberry and small notes of small concentrated/fresh wild berries, associated with touches of chocolate, very discreet menthol, as well as a hint of nutmeg and fresh sweet spices. The palate is well-built, fruity, fresh, juicy and offers a lovely, finely powdered texture and gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, violet and small notes of juicy/brilliant cherry, combined with touches of small bright red berries, as well as hints of chocolate, a fine hint of eucalyptus in the background and toasted almond. Good length and definition. The tannins are finely powdered, juicy and fresh.
