The nose is intense with notes of ginger and pineapple. There is also a touch of butter. We also smell the undergrowth of a pine forest. The second nose opens with a hint of toast as well as almond, lemon, and nutmeg. The palate is fresh with nutmeg directly at the attack. There is good salivating acidity and notes of candied lemon and peach. There is a certain salinity from the mid-palate which continues into a finish of dried mango. Lovely wine.
