The nose is concentrated, aromatic, with delicate tertiary notes (wet leaves, tobacco, dried rose), associated with fresh tangy fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant), with the bitterness of almond and coffee, as well as touches of toasted hazelnut and refreshing herbs (peppermint, rosemary) and flowers (cornflower, lily). The palate is enveloping, silky and juicy. It expresses notes of morello cherry, red cherry, blackcurrant, strawberry, crushed raspberry, morello cherry in chocolate, crushed mint, rosemary, thyme, as well as a bitterness of fresh almond, toasted hazelnut and coffee. The finish is long, with a good bitterness of bird cherry. The tannins are well constructed, firm, but fine.
