Carpineto 2021 – Chianti Classico

Lovely fruity nose, full and offering a certain sensation of creaminess. It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, creamy cassis and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of violet, dry local garrigue as well as a discreet hint of liquorice stick. The palate is fruity, balanced, mineral and offers tension, creaminess in freshness, good definition as well as a textured side in finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, creamy cassis and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of cornflower, star anise as well as fine hints of chocolate, sage/local garrigue and a very discreet hint of toast. The tannins are supple and fresh. Good length.
