Lovely ripe nose, racy and which offers a certain power in accuracy. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, wild strawberry and small notes of fleshy/fairly ripe small fruits associated with touches of violet, tobacco as well as fine hints of undergrowth, tonka bean as well as a fine hint of toast. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers freshness, good definition, juiciness, an acidulous frame, a certain accuracy as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, small acidulous/ripe fruits and small notes of violet associated with touches of tobacco, toast, a hint of star anise as well as a subtle hint of olive and tonka bean. The tannins are sapid and mellow. Lovely acidity and length. The finish is stretched.
