The nose is fruity and offers a little concentration, a nice finely powdered grain as well as a fine concentration. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of crushed wild raspberry associated with touches of star anise as well as a subtle hint of cornflower and vanilla. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a tangy frame, tension, a nice definition, accuracy as well as a certain power while being accurate and delicious. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, blackberry and small notes of small red berries associated with touches of toast, tobacco as well as fine hints of star anise, smoke and toasted almond. A little softness on the finish/persistence.
