The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers a fine power (power in delicacy and control). It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, crushed wild strawberry and more slightly liquorice associated with touches of violet as well as discreet hints of vanilla and a subtle hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers juiciness, a nice definition / purity of the fruit, a nice delicacy, precision as well as a discreet airy side in the balances. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, bright cherry and more slightly juicy / fresh red plum associated with small touches of blueberry, lilac, cornflower as well as fine hints of licorice and cardamom. The tannins are precise, massive but polished. Good length. Presence of a subtle chew on the finish / persistence.
