Carini Poggio Cannetto 2022 – Umbria Bianco IGT

(Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco) The nose is juicy, fruity and fragrant. It expresses the aromas of stone fruits (white peach, apricot), fresh pineapple, combined with an expressive scent of acacia, tanginess of citrus (lemon juice, lemon zest) and green apple, as well as a delicate salinity and a touch of toasted hazelnut and almond. The palate offers beautiful concentration and an airy and fine, not oily texture. We find the flavors of white peach, apricot, fresh pineapple, refreshed by the tanginess of lemon, the bitterness of grapefruit and bitter almond as well as a beautiful acidity. The finish is structured, textured and complex, with a hint of acacia and toasted hazelnut. A fragrant, refined and balanced wine.
