The nose is fruity and offers power as well as concentration. It reveals notes of boysenberry, blue fruits and small notes of cornflower, cassis and fleshy wild raspberry associated with fine touches of zan, liquorice sticks, camphor, spices, caramelization and very discreet hints of Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fresh, fruity, beautifully delicate, beautifully precise, fond and offers a beautiful fullness, dynamism, freshness, fine acid frame, beautiful gourmandize as well as a beautiful complexity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed blue fruits and crushed raspberry associated with small notes of red berries jelly as well as touches of toasted, sweet spices, cardamom, and very discreet touches of toasted almond. Tannins are fine and bit firm. Good length.
