Caputo – Clanius 2023 – Sannio DOC Aglianico

The nose is elegant, aromatic and offers a certain complexity, maturity and a bewitching and deep side at the same time. There are notes of dried fig, wild cassis and small notes of small roasted-elegant fruits, associated with fine hints of sweet tobacco and Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, fresh and offers a lovely spherical side in its substance, delicacy and a certain bewitching side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of wild cassis and small notes of cherry and plum, combined with touches of flowers, balsamic, a hint of small crushed red fruits and cardamom. Good length. There’s a toasted-suave side on the finish and a subtle hint of tobacco on the finish/persistence. A wine offering gourmandise, energy and a lovely acidity on the finish/persistence. Chewy on the persistence.
