The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity, with slight garnet reflections. The nose is tasty, and first expresses notes of spices (coriander seeds, cumin, a touch of licorice), brewed tea and dried herbs (bay leaf, a touch of thyme, mint and basil, as well as roasted bouquet garni), which then combine with small tangy red fruits (cranberry, bigarreau cherry, wild strawberry), a sweet hint of amarena cherry, as well as roasted notes (coffee, toasted wood ) and a fine note of dried rose in the background. The palate is round, but structured, with a beautiful juiciness of ripe fruit, a salivating acidity and grippy, but quite fine, tannins. We can see notes of crunchy bigarreau cherry, cranberry, wild strawberry, dried raspberry, combined with notes of roasted bouquet garni, dried wild flowers, sweet coffee, a touch of toasted wood and cocoa. There is also some spiciness that appears at the end of the palate (cloves, nutmeg and a hint of vanilla). The finish is sapid, enveloping, juicy, with a beautiful persistence which continues with notes of dried herbs and torrefaction.
