The nose reveals notes of blackberry, undergrowth and small notes of garrigue, small wild black berries associated with small touches of redcurrant, raspberry, leather, spices, laurel as well as very discreet hint of gray pepper. The wine needs to be decanted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a slight acid frame, a very slight freshness, a slight straightness as well as a slight roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry, redcurrant and blackberry combined with small notes of laurel / garrigue, toasted oak and sweet spices / vanilla. Tannins are very slightly firm. Good persistence.
