The nose is powerful and spicy. It reveals notes of blackberry, leather and small notes of gray pepper associated with fine touches of ripe raspberry, blackberry as well as a very discreet hint of spices and an imperceptible hint of coffee. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, juiciness, precision as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe cassis, juicy/ripe plum and small notes of strawberry associated with fine touches of small red berries as well as a subtle hint of violet. Tannins are well-built. Good length.
