Cantine delle Serra – 2018 Caluso Passito DOCG

Beautiful complex nose that offers a certain freshness/ minerality in the background. There are notes of dry apricot, rancio and small notes of dried orange zests associated with slight hints of fruit in syrop and pineapple as well as small hints of cigar box and a discreet hint of fresh coffee. The mouth is fruity and offers a juicy/ acidulous frame, energy, a good definition, an acidulous frame, tension as well as a harmony. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of candied quinte, dry apricot and small notes of orangette associated with touches of rancio, cigar tabaco, fennel and slight almost caramelisation hints and an imperceptible hint of vanilla in the background.
