Cantine Antonio Mazzella – Nero 70 2022 – Ischia DOC Piedirosso

The nose is elegant, velvety, delicate and offers a certain richness in delicacy, freshness in accuracy, depth, complexity, spices (a broad palette of spices) and an elegant, precise and intense grain. There are notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of delicate sweet spices, associated with touches of blond tobacco, smoke, as well as fine hints of brilliant violet plum, graphene and cocoa. Depth and lovely textured. The palate is well built, fruity, fresh, tangy, gourmand and offers good definition, a certain gourmandise, accuracy, energy and lovely precision. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, violet, juicy/fresh plum, combined with touches of small ripe/juicy/tangy fruits, touches of crushed strawberry, chocolate, toasted, tonka bean, star anise, toasted almond, as well as a hint of tobacco and discreet hints of flowers and fresh sage. Good length. Freshness, energy and good definition. The tannins are just right, supple, fresh and suave. A certain mellowness and gourmandise.
