The nose is aromatic, elegant and offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, ripe wild strawberry and small ripe wild berries associated with touches of spices, gray pepper as well as touches of fleshy raspberry, sweet spices and caramelized/toasted oak, chocolate, cooked cassis and a very discreet hint of black olive / garrigue. The palate is juicy, fresh (good freshness), mineral, well-balanced, precise, elegant and offers a good definition, power, a good structure as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy wild strawberry and small notes of fleshy wild raspberry, ripe / juicy redcurrant combined with small / slight touches of toasted oak, caramelization, chocolate, vanilla as well as a very discreet hint of Timut pepper, black olive, garrigue and undergrowth / truffle. Tannins are well-built and (very) slightly firm.
