The nose is fruity, with good definition and concentration. Notes of wild blackcurrant, ripe wild strawberry and more lightly violets are combined with hints of mocha, thyme/garrigue and a discreet touch of pepper and coffee. The palate is fruity, with juiciness, acidity, minerality, good definition, some tension and salinity. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, strawberry and more lightly red berry notes, tart blueberry combined with fine powdery mocha notes, and discreet thyme/sage and salinity notes, good tense, acidic and very discreetly tight, sapid persistence. The tannins are racy.
