The nose is aromatic, racy and offers a certain deepness. It reveals notes of bright/ripe cassis, bright/ripe boysen blackberry and small notes of rosemary associated with touches of crushed bigarreau cherry, slight hints of violet, a discreet hint of olive, primrose as well as a subtle hint of liquorice stick and black pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, an acidulous frame, minerality, energy as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright redcurrants and hints of olive, local dry soil as well as slight hints of chocolate as well as a subtle almost verbena/ olive leaf hint. Supple fresh tannins.
