A wine that places its best bets on the finesse of its never excessive and exuberant, yet always highly harmonious and subtle aromas: hints of wild flowers, camomile, white fruit, spice and graphite. The sip offers a remarkably expressive, smooth and fresh harmony but with character. The lengthy finale closes on pleasant savoury notes.
“Quintessenz” is a Pinot Bianco that is part of the Kaltern Winery’s high-end line. Founded in 1900, the winery currently manages 445 hectares. Thomas Scarizuola, a young, 34-year-old oenologist, has been in charge of the winery since 2023.
