The nose is aromatic and offers a spicy side. It reveals notes of dried blackcurrant, blackberry cream and small notes of crushed redcurrants associated with touches of thyme, date, fine hints of spices as well as a discreet hint of small dried fruits and a subtle hint almost zan (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, juiciness, a certain gourmandize, freshness as well as a certain energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crème de cassis, dried cherry and small notes of jammy strawberry associated with touches of violet, dried apricot, fig as well as a subtle hint almost sage/olive. Tannins are big but mellow.
