The nose is velvety, ample and offers fine floral notes, a slight mellowness and delicate/mellow spices. It reveals notes of blackberry, small fleshy red fruits and small notes of tobacco associated with touches of nutmeg, fine hints of bigarreau cherry as well as discreet hints of smoke, wilted flowers, toasted almond and a very discreet hint of sense of the place (local biotop). On the palate, the wine is fruity and mineral and offers gourmandise, a small juiciness, precision as well as a tangy frame. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy boysenberry, crushed blueberry and small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of violet, sweet spices, nutmeg as well as fine toasted hints, smoke and an almost sweet balsamic hint. Tannins are precise and mellow. Good length. Good definition and freshness. Good persistence.
